When we choose new community partners, we look for vertical-specific groups where we can make a difference and bring value to the conversation. Once we find a partner that fits OWG and get involved, we always aim to create meaningful content for their community.
We currently partner with:
The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants is a professional organization that helps current CPAs and aspiring CPAs in the state. They offer over 500 continuing education programs, consist of 11 chapters, and have a wide variety of committees and interest groups.

IT Nation Evolve helps IT management teams and leaders improve their skills, develop new and better hiring and onboarding practices, and create new strategies for business, growth, and processes. Accountability is always at the forefront.
Choosing vendors to work with isn’t always easy – and we don’t work with just anyone. We’re looking for very specific criteria when we choose to partner with a new vendor – whether this is a company that can help us internally or we believe has solutions for our clients.
Of course, we only work with vendors who have a security-first mindset and have the features that will keep our team and partners secure. OWG always looks for SSO via Azure AD, SOC 2 or ISO27001, internal breach notification policies, any global or national security standards followed, including GDPR, NIST, and whether their team has access to our data (they shouldn’t).
Support is also essential. OWG seeks out vendors that provide support primarily in North America, offer direct support, have excellent response times, and have guarantees for downtime or breaches.
OWG also aims to give back to our communities and create meaningful change. That’s why we currently partner with 3 charities that we believe do important work for their communities and for the better good.
human-I-T has 3 specific goals when it comes to their community:
They also work to keep e-waste out of landfills by providing refurbishing solutions for older equipment that can make a difference in communities.
The Growing Stage is a local New Jersey organization that ensures children in our community are receiving a quality arts education and always keeping imagination and arts in their lives. Through the performing arts, they aim to engage the entire family, develop new initiatives, and benefit and enhance the lives of young people.
St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital focuses on the treatment of children with catastrophic diseases, including leukemia, cancers, and other life-threatening illnesses, as well as the research into treatments. The hospital costs nearly $3 million a day to operate, but the patients are never charged for the care they receive.
